an observation

or maybe even, I daresay, a theory.

About: the liberal-erizing tendencies of a newer generation.
Bahaha. Does that even make sense?! I was just trying to sound smart. Smart-ish, at least. Ahaha anywayyyy.

(Note: this is an observation, meaning "generally speaking".) Teenagers tend to rebel. They have a stage in which they go against the desires of their authorities in order to be cool and fit in the mold, amongst a slew of other reasons. Therefore, they go against, or at least try to go against, traditional ways and customs and beliefs. In doing so, they become more accepting of the things which go against tradition. In this way, as more generations come, the world and its standards become more liberal.

I don't know if 'liberal' is the right word here, but I guess as of now, this will do.

Short.
